Include and Exclude relation types
These relation types help improve performance by excluding parts or assemblies when you analyze complex assemblies using physical behavior.
An Exclude relation excludes entire parts or assemblies from collision checking. When other objects come into contact with an excluded object, no clash (or collision) is detected, and the moving object passes through the excluded object.
An Include relation excludes all of a part except the face or faces that you select to include. Clash detection is only calculated for the defined face or faces. Unlike parts with an Exclude relation defined, other parts will not pass through any faces on the part. This improves performance because behavior is only defined for the included faces.
Include and Exclude relation types affect clashing behavior when you
Move parts with Dynamic Positioning, if Update Relations is selected.
Animate a relation set.
Play an animation created with the Animation module, if the relation set is solved during the animation.
These relation types can be used like any other relation type. They can be modified, deleted, activated, and deactivated.

If you want to detect clashes for a part or assembly that has been defined in an Exclude relation, you will need to deactivate the relation. Otherwise, clashes may not be detected and other objects may pass through the object with the Exclude relation.
