Copy a relation set
You can copy a relation set with all its relations as a new relation set in the same assembly or in the same part.. This is particularly useful when you are using relation sets in animations because you can define a series of relations, then activate them sequentially to create your animation.
*
You can copy a relation set:
With an assembly as the owner to the same assembly.
With a part as the owner to the same part within an assembly.
You cannot copy a relation set from a part to another part within an assembly or from one assembly to another assembly.
If an assembly has multiple relation sets, you will find them in a pseudo folder under the assembly in the Structure Browser.
To copy a relation set,
1. Click Relations and then, in the Relations Mode group, click Assembly or Parametrics.
2. Click Relations and then, in the R-Sets group, click Copy. The Copy R-Set dialog box opens.
