Component rule implementation
For specific components the validity of the parameters is checked after the button has been activated.
In the case of a Cap or Countersunk Screw the following checks are made:
Rule 1: Tap length too short (i.e. screw hole + tap < screw length).
(Screw hole is the length of the hole in the mother plate.)
The following message box appears:
Yes (Automatic Fix) increases the tapping length to satisfy this rule and continues to create the components.
As Is doesn't make any adjustments to the parameters.
Back allows you to modify the parameters.
Rule 2: The screw thread depth in the tapped hole must penetrate mold parts to the length of at least 1.5 X D1 where D1 is the diameter of the screw.
The following message box appears:
Yes (Automatic Fix) increases the Face Offset parameter i.e. pushes the screw into the Plate/Insert without changing its dimensions to satisfy this rule and continues to create the components.
As Is doesn't make any adjustments to the parameters.
Back allows you to modify the parameters.
