You can combine existing thermal and mechanical studies. When you combine studies, all material, mesh, and mesh constraints are shared between the two studies. The command checks for consistency between the two studies, and will display an error if they are inconsistent. If the studies are successfully combined, a load is created from the thermal results as the load for the mechanical study.
To combine existing studies,
1. Click FEA and then, in the Study group, click Combine. The Combine Studies dialog box opens.
2. Select the Therm.Study in the Structure Browser.
3. Select the Mech.Study in the Structure Browser.
