Extend or shorten a flat cable
You can extend and shorten flat cables while keeping one edge in a fixed position.
To extend and shorten flat cables,
1. Click
Cabling and then, in the
Flatcable group, click the arrow next to
Modify.
2. Click
Modify flatcable. The
Modify Flatcable dialog box opens.
3. Select a point along the edge you wish to extend or shorten.
4. To keep an adjacent edge fixed in its current position, click Keep Fixed and select an edge adjacent to that which you are extending or shortening.
5. Specify a distance by which to extend or shorten the flat cable.
6. Click Move + or Move - to extend or shorten the cable.
7. Click
to complete the operation.
