Augmented reality design share
What is the benefit of this enhancement?
Through a set of new Augmented Reality tools available in the View tab in Creo Elements/Direct Modeling, you can rapidly define, publish, and instantly distribute AR experiences. No longer do you need to prepare and package models for distribution and review.
In addition, Creo AR allows for immersive design data with full context and scale, overcoming the inability of traditional methods to convey size and scale.
Define a Spatial Target for your model. Publish the model to a hosted Vuforia Experience, either Personal (included in every license of Creo Elements/Direct Modeling) or Premium. Access the experience using a link in Vuforia View.
With the Personal account, you can do the following:
Publish up to ten experience models of your design.
Directly visualize the experience models from Vuforia View.
Share the experience models with your colleagues.
Control who can view the experiences through Vuforia View.
With the Premium account, in addition to the above tasks, you can do the following:
Publish more than ten experience models.
Control who can publish to a Premium account.
You can place multiple Spatial Targets in Creo Elements/Direct Modeling, position them with the regular work plane positioning tools, scale them with the image scaling tool, and then select the particular Spatial Target to use for the published experience model. Manage your models in the web-based Experience Portal and share the unique link associated with an experience model. Click that link in a supported smart phone or tablet (see the list of supported devices here), to open Vuforia View and see your model augmented. Through the power of Vuforia, PTC offers a new way for you to view and interact with your design throughout the design process.

Enhanced usability
What is the benefit of this enhancement?
Loading and positioning a model is easier. The initial position after load is centered in the view at a close distance in front of parts and assemblies that are already in session. This optimizes the visibility of the loaded model by preventing it from being far off or buried inside other parts.
An auxiliary view of the loaded model allows you to view, pan, rotate, and zoom it independently from the main viewport. This makes it easier to select references for positioning constraints.
