The Load options dialog allows you to set the following options for IGES data:
• GD&T: Import GD&T data with your model(s).
• Wireframe: Import a wireframe of your model(s).
• Variable: Allow the chosen accuracy to change depending on the data you load.
• Load Acc: Allows you to set the accuracy of the loaded model(s). You can type in any value between 1.0E-1 to 1.0E-6.
• Healing Level: How much correction is done to your model(s). Please read
Native format data healing for more information.
• Face Trim: You can change 2D and 3D curve representations to:
◦ Source Preference: Use the trimming representation stored with the file. This option normally yields satisfactory results.
◦ Use UV: Import as 2D curve representation. This may be a better choice for systems that internally handle curve geometry as 2D curves, like CATIA V4 or Syrko.
◦ Use 3D: Import as 3D curve geometry.
◦ Automatic: The processor decides which curve is best for the trimming the faces. It first checks the 3D curve; if the result is unsatisfactory, it automatically uses the UV curve.
• Statistics: Create an HTML report when you load data from another source system.
• Top Assmbly: Allows you to name a top-level assembly. The loaded parts and assemblies are inserted below this assembly.
• Create Labels for Repaired: Label each element that is repaired.
• Blend Recognition: Automatically detect and recognize blends so you can alter them in Creo Elements/Direct Modeling.
• Check Part: Run the part check after load to make sure your data is valid in Creo Elements/Direct Modeling.
IGES log file
You can write additional log file information by setting the following switches in the user input line:
• (sd_dek::set-native-debug-out t): The file
iges2nut.out will be created in your temp directory.
• (sd_dek::set-write-log-file t): The file
osd_dek_log.txt will be created in your temp directory.
• (sd_dek::set-dek-debug-level <n>): Sets a debug level. The number <n> can range between 0 and 10, where 0 will produce the least and 10 the most information. If the user input line is not visible near the bottom of the Creo Elements/Direct Modeling window, click View > User Input Line.
