Adjust the tool angle
When you click a tool from the tools table, Creo Elements/Direct Sheet Metal attaches the tool feedback to the cursor at the default angle 0. (The angle is measured with respect to the underlying workplane's U-axis.)
The tool angle is relative to the tool's current adjust point.
In the case of oblong tools for example, you may want to position the tool at a different angle.
To change the angle,
1. Click Angle.
Creo Elements/Direct Sheet Metal prompts you to specify an angle.
2. Enter an angle, for example 90 degree.
The tool feedback rotates around the adjust point (and the cursor) at the specified angle. (You can enter any angle.)
3. Click on the sheet metal part to position the tool.
The tool's angle relative to the adjust point stays the same until you change the angle or choose a new tool.
