Adjust the cursor reference point
When you click a tool from a tools table, Creo Elements/Direct Sheet Metal attaches the tool feedback to the cursor at the tool's default reference point. In case of circular tools, for example, the default reference point is the tool center.
To adjust the cursor to a different reference point,
1. Click Adjust.
Creo Elements/Direct Sheet Metal prompts you to place the tool temporarily on the workplane.
2. Click any point in the workplane to "park" the tool.
Creo Elements/Direct Sheet Metal now prompts you to click the adjust point. The adjust point can be any reference point in the workplane.
3. Click the new adjust point.
The tool is attached to the cursor again. This time it is attached to the adjust point you clicked.
4. Click on the part to position the tool.
The adjust point stays the same until you redefine it or choose a new tool.
