Enable or disable relation warnings
If a model contains relations, warning messages may be issued under the following circumstances:
1. When a file is loaded that contains relation sets.
2. When a file is loaded that contains a relation set, a part of which has been modified independently of the owning assembly, a mismatch in relation information results.
3. When a reference element required for a relation definition is modified or deleted.
For cases 1 and 2, the warning messages are always enabled, but for case 3 it is possible to disable them, for instance, you may want to make test changes to a model that has been copied from one containing relations, but you may not be interested in the relations.
Whenever Creo Elements/Direct Modeling is started, the relation warning messages are enabled, by default.
To disable the warning messages:
1. Click File > Settings > System Settings. The System Settings dialog box opens.
2. Click Notifications in the left pane.
3. In the Relation Settings section the following options are available:
Show warning on modification
Show warning on deletion
4. Click the type(s) of warning you want to disable.
