Create a rigid relation
A rigid relation links two or more objects so if one is moved, the others move with it so they stay in the same position relative to each other.
For example, the blue, red, and green boxes have been linked by a rigid relation. If you move any of the boxes, the other boxes will also move.
To create a rigid relation,
1. Click
Relations and then, in the
Relations Mode group, click
Parametrics.
2. Click
Relations and then, in the
Create & Modify group, click
Rigid. The Rigid dialog box opens.
3. Select the 3D Elements you want defined in the relation. To select multiple elements, press F2 and use the Select dialog.
4. Click
OK to complete the operation.
