Labels are only displayed for distance, angle, radius, and diameter type relations. Labels are not displayed for other relation types, such as coincident or parallel. You can modify both the position and orientation of individual labels in the active relation set.
To modify a label position,
1. Click Relations and then, in the Tools group, click the arrow next to Labels.
2. Click one of the following:
◦ Free Pos allows you to drag the label to the desired location in the viewport.
◦ In Plane allows you to drag the label to any position in its current plane.
◦ Thru Plane allows you to drag the label to any position normal to its current plane.
◦ Stretch allows you to drag just the label, without the leader lines, along its current vector.
◦ Anchor allows you to click on a new spot within the attached element where you want the leader line attached.
◦ Orientation allows you to change the orientation of the label text. You may need to use the Direction 3D CoPilot.
◦ Reset moves the labels and leader lines back to their original positions.
3. Click the label you want to move.
4. Move the mouse to reposition the label.
5. Click to fix the label position in the viewport.
