Change hole parameters
Drilled hole parameters include sink types and dimensions, screw diameter, etc.
Select the features at the assembly level to modify a hole or pattern of holes. Otherwise, the modification will only affect a single hole, either through a single part or a single hole in the pattern.
To change a drilled hole's parameters,
1. Click Part Library and then, in the Drill group, click the arrow next to Modify.
2. Click Parameters. The Modify Parameters dialog box opens.
3. Select the hole or hole pattern in the Structure Browser.
4. If you previously saved hole parameters, and you want to use them again, click Load and browse to find the file.
5. To get the parameters from another drilled hole, click Get From then select a hole in the Structure Browser.
6. Set the screw parameters:
ScrewDiam: The diameter of the screw.
NominalDia: The diameter of the tool used to create the hole; also called thread diameter.
Machining: The pitch of the screw, which can be coarse, medium, or fine.
CAM-Info: The manufacturing type for the hole, which can be cut type, or stamp type. To customize the CAM-Info, click CAM-Info in the Defaults section of the Drill menu.
7. Set the sink parameters. You can choose from several sink styles. The Standard sets the parameters based on the standard.
8. Set the thread parameters.
9. Click Save to save these parameters to a file for future use.
10. Click OK to complete the operation.
