Customize Creo Elements/Direct Part Library
You can specify a location for Creo Elements/Direct Part Library installation, specify a directory for customization issues, limit the parts shown in the standard tables to those that have a part number, modify the standard part table, and compare your customized installation with a new installation.
1. Specify a location for your Creo Elements/Direct Part Library installation:
set the environment variable: PART_LIBRARY_INSTALLATION_DIR

Use this setting for a customized Creo Elements/Direct Part Library installation on a shared drive for your entire company.
2. Specify a directory for customization issues:
a. set PART_LIBRARY_PARTS=<shared_drive>:\all_users\customize
b. For example, you can type in the user input line before you start Creo Elements/Direct Part Library
(si::putenv "PART_LIBRARY_PARTS" "d:/temp/company_standards")

Add company standard parts to this directory for distribution.
3. Use (setf TS-CATALOG-LADEN::*ts-catalog-pnr-filter* t) in the file plib_customize of %APPDATA%\CoCreate\CoCreate Modeling 2008\16.00\PartLibrary to show only the parts in the standard tables that have a part number (PNR).

This is the only file in Creo Elements/Direct Part Library that supports modifications!
4. With the command ts_catalog_adm you will get an additional Creo Elements/Direct Part Library menu:
Click Standards to modify the standard part table. Delete standards from the list, or modify the sequence.
