Configuring Creo Elements/Direct Modeling IDF Data Adapter (PCB I/F)
The name of the Creo Elements/Direct Modeling IDF Data Adapter (PCB I/F) customization file is sdpcb_customize. A sample file named sdpcb_customize.template is supplied with Creo Elements/Direct Modeling IDF Data Adapter (PCB I/F).
The default directory is:
$INSTALLDIR/personality/sdpcb
Create a working copy of this file. Name this working copy sdpcb_customize. Edit this working copy to specify:
the PCB part libraries you want to list in the Libraries browser.
any customized configuration files you want to use in Creo Elements/Direct Modeling IDF Data Adapter (PCB I/F).
You must copy the sdpcb_customize file to your working directory before you start Creo Elements/Direct Modeling IDF Data Adapter (PCB I/F).
You can use the open command to load the sdpcb_customize file when Creo Elements/Direct Modeling IDF Data Adapter (PCB I/F) is active. The standard SD, Corp, Site, and User customization settings do not apply to IDF Data Adapter (PCB I/F). Creo Elements/Direct Modeling automatically loads the sdpcb_customize file only if it is located in the default directory or in the active working directory when Creo Elements/Direct Modeling IDF Data Adapter (PCB I/F) starts.
Use a standard text editor to change the contents of this file. You must type the custom strings in quotes. Comments must begin with a semi-colon (;).
