Mold Design is an advisor module of Creo Elements/Direct Modeling. It helps you to create, modify, and analyze plastic features in the familiar Creo Elements/Direct Modeling environment. It uses rules and defaults to create common features quickly and reliably.
You will need to have a license for the Mold Design module before you can use the Advisor-specific functionality as described in this section. If you have a license, load the Advisor by clicking the Mold Design check box in the Applications pane of the Modules dialog box.
The Mold Design main menu offers a collection of standard Creo Elements/Direct Modeling buttons (Create 2D, Modify 2D, Workplane, Part Assmbly) and also a number of menus containing both Creo Elements/Direct Modeling and Mold Design-specific commands. The latter functionality is discussed in this document, and links are provided for other commands.
