Supported unit settings by the MSC solving components
The MSC solving components do not support all of the unit settings that are otherwise available in Creo Elements/Direct Finite Element Analysis. When you use the following buttons:
Define Job in the Analyze group on the FEA tab
Retrieve Result in the Analyze group on the FEA tab
Deck in the Output group on the Modify tab
The unit settings must be adjusted according to the supported units by the MSC components. They are listed in the table below.
If you want to use different settings for these units, you can do so prior to and after using these buttons. Other unit settings available in Creo Elements/Direct Finite Element Analysis (Density, Moment, Pressure, Velocity, Acceleration, Heatflow, Heatflux, Thermal Analysis Conductivity, Specific Heat, and Film Coefficient) do not conflict and can be set independently on the MSC Components.
