When creating a study, you can customize the analysis environment. All Creo Elements/Direct Modeling settings are carried over into Creo Elements/Direct Finite Element Analysis, but Creo Elements/Direct Finite Element Analysis gives you access to several other variables used in study creation.

You will find that the Creo Elements/Direct Finite Element Analysis default settings are useful for most tasks, but you may need to adjust certain settings to improve the screen display of your design study or to create study information in a different measurement system.

Changes you make to the settings can be stored with the environment.
