Select modes from modal and linear buckling results
If you have performed a Modal or Linear Buckling analysis, within your result datasets you will have a set of results for each vibration mode or buckling mode studied in your analysis.
Sample modal analysis - modes 1, 2 and 3
The Case set facility allows you to select for which mode results are to be displayed and also provides you with further information about that mode.
To select the mode in which you are interested,
Click FEA and then, in the Post Process group, click the arrow next to Results. Click Case Set.
The Case Set dialog box is displayed with the following information entered:
The defined result.
The type of analysis performed in the Anl Type box.
The current mode selected in the Mode box (the results for the first mode are selected by default when the results are first displayed after the analysis).
The frequency of the selected mode in the Mode Freq box, in the case of a Modal analysis.
The Eigenvalue of the selected mode in the Eigenvalue box, in the case of a Linear Buckling analysis.

If the analysis performed was a Linear Static analysis or a Thermal Analysis, this menu performs no function.
To select the results and display the menu information for a lower mode, click Previous.
To select the results and display the menu information for a higher mode, click Next.
