Animate the results
Using this facility, you can animate the contours for mechanical stress, displacement, and thermal analysis.
To animate your results,
1. Click FEA and then, in the Post Process group, click Animate. The Animate dialog box opens.
2. Set your animation conditions in the top input fields. You can set:
Result. Specify the result you want to animate (there may be more than one study/result).
Cycles. This is the number of times you want to repeat the cycle from normal state to maximum application of the study conditions, that is, zero to maximum load in the case of Linear Static analysis.
Frames. This is the number of steps you want to be animated from the initial state to the fully loaded state according to the study conditions.
3. Select whether the animation should be forward and reverse or just forward (with a jump back to the start) by clicking either Fwd + Rev or Forward. The selected option is highlighted.
4. To start the animation, click Start.
If you want to study the animation more carefully, or take screen shots, for instance, you can step through it one frame at a time in either direction:
To step through the animation forwards, click Step Fwd.
To step through the animation in reverse, click Step Bwd.
You can return to the first frame of the animation at any time by clicking Reset.
When you have finished your animation studies, click .
