Apply loads and boundary conditions
In an analysis model, the loads are the mechanical forces and thermal loading which act on the object or part. The boundary conditions are the environmental factors influencing the behavior of the object or part under normal use. When creating the analysis model, you need to use your knowledge of specific design concepts and experience with the behavior of the given object or part, or of similar objects and parts, to set the variables for the loads and boundary conditions acting on it under typical operating conditions.
The Mechanical LBC group allows you to apply loads and set constraints on vertices, edges, and faces on your model.
In order to see the graphical study information (loads and boundary conditions, mesh conditioning, and the mesh) in the viewports, you must click the Ld &Bnd check box in the Analysis tab of the Creo Elements/Direct Modeling Show Properties dialog box.
