Map part names of ECAD connectors to WorkManager/Creo Elements/Direct Model Manager
You can use Interface > Model Manager to map connector part names to ELIDs of ECAD connector parts that are stored in WorkManager /Creo Elements/Direct Model Manager. Click the arrow next to Model Manager to see the following:
• Re-read Model Manager mappings - Reloads the latest edited and saved Ecadpartname_2_wmparts_mappings.txt map file in Creo Elements/Direct Cabling. The map file is located in <Creo Elements/Direct install directory>\personality\cabling\DataMgnt
• Edit Model Manager mappings - Opens the Ecadpartname_2_wmparts_mappings.txt file in a text editor. The file stores map entries in the following format:
<part name of the connector in the ECAD interface file> <element ID of the part in WorkManager>

Before editing, make sure that the Ecadpartname_2_wmparts_mappings.txt file is not read-only.
• You can type only a single map entry in a line.
• Close the text editor to save the latest changes.
