Visualize wires and cables

Extended modules > Creo Elements/Direct Cabling > Visualization > Visualize wires and cables

You can create solid representations of your harness assembly's cables.

After creating solid cables, each cable subassembly will contain two entities, that of the wireframe and that of the solid.

Creating solids of your wireframe cables can require time-intensive calculations

To create or delete solid cables,

1. Click Tools and then, in the Visualising group, click

Re-Create visual wires or

Delete visual wires.

2. Select the cable in the viewport, or double-click a Unit(s) or Group in the Structure Browser.

3. Click

to complete the operation.

After you create solids, click

Show On/Off to easily visualize your harness's various components.
