Move clamps with wires
Let’s say that a design change requires you to move one or more clamps. With Creo Elements/Direct Cabling, you can move a clamp and the wires attached to it will move automatically.
To move a clamp and wires together,
1. Click Interface and then, in the Library group, click the arrow next to Fixture.
2. Click Move fixture. The Re-Position Fixture dialog box opens.
3. Select a clamp in the viewport.
4. Click Reposition.
5. The Position dialog box opens. Drag the clamp in the viewport, or specify a positioning method and adjust its position.
6. Click OK to complete the operation.
The wires' 3D representations still display in the viewport, so you should regenerate it to show the wires in their new positions.
