Creo Elements/Direct Cabling Tutorial 9: Step 3 of 4
Create new cable
Create and route the cable that will become a number of parallel wires or cables.
To create a new cable,
1. Click Cabling and then, in the Manual Routing group, click the arrow next to Wire.
2. Click Polygon Wire. The Polygon Cable dialog box opens.
3. Select a wire or cable of a diameter close to that which you measured in the last section of this tutorial. Selecting a diameter close to the finished cable pack helps you see whether there is interference with other geometry but does not influence the final bundle.
4. Check Add Fillet and type a FilletRad equal to or larger than the bundle diameter measured in the last section of this tutorial.
5. Click Start Pnt and click in the viewport to place the bundle. Click again to select another point.
6. Click OK to complete the operation.
