Example: Specify a surface quality
1. Click
Feature and then, in the
Custom Feature group, click the arrow next to
Machining.
2. Select a hole or thread type. The context dialog box opens.
3. Click Show T&Q to display additional fields.
4. Click Side Quality to display the Surface Quality menu.
5. Select the appropriate quality factor, for example, ISO N7.
6. Click Accept and set the remaining options for the hole.
7. Click
to complete the operation.
Notice that the hole face is colored to indicate that it has been assigned a quality factor.
