Scale annotations
You can scale the settings of all components of existing annotations, or scale the default sizes affecting new annotations in a single operation. The Scale function is a more efficient method to change the sizes of an annotation's value, text, lines, and arrows all together than changing each setting individually.
To scale the size of annotations,
1. To scale the default size settings (as set in the Annotation 3D Settings dialog box):
a. Click File > Settings > 3D Documentation > Scale Anno Settings. The Scale Settings dialog box opens.
b. Select whether to scale the settings for Dimensions, GD&T Symbol, or Text/Label.
c. Enter a scaling factor in the Factor box.
2. To scale the sizes of existing annotations:
a. Click 3D Documentation and then, in the Annotate group, click the arrow next to More.
b. Click Scale Annotation under Properties. The Scale Properties dialog box opens.
c. Click the annotation to scale, or use the Select tool to scale multiple annotations.
d. Clear the Chained check box to scale the individual dimension clicked rather than the entire chain. This is relevant when you want to scale coordinate and baseline dimensions.
e. Enter a scaling factor in the Factor box. The selected annotations are updated in the viewport.
The displayed sizes are recalculated in the menu to reflect the scaling.
3. Continue scaling annotations, or click OK to complete the operation.
