Highlight a docuplane
Docuplanes can be highlighted in the viewport for better viewing. You do this by specifying an annotation owned by the docuplane; the associated docuplane, the selected annotation, and all its references are highlighted.
The Highlight Docuplane dialog box displays some docuplane information for the selected docuplane: its type, whether it is a partial docuplane or not, its scale factor, the associated configuration (if any), and the number of annotations on the docuplane.
In addition, when you select the docuplane by specifying one of its associated annotations, the dialog box also displays some Annotation Information: its owning docuplane (if any), its index number, its nominal dimension value (if applicable), and its tolerance information. Note that when a free annotation is selected here, the docuplane information is left unassigned.
To highlight a docuplane,
1. Click 3D Documentation and then, in the Display group, click the arrow next to Highlight.
2. Click Docuplane. The Highlight Docuplane dialog box opens.
3. Specify the docuplane to be highlighted:
By default, the active docuplane is selected. Click Docuplane and select another one to highlight by clicking it in the viewport or selecting it in the browser.
Click Anno and click an existing annotation to select its owning docuplane. The selected docuplane is highlighted, and the menu expands and displays docuplane information. Also, if you used the Anno method above, the selected annotation and its references are also highlighted, and the menu also displays annotation information.
4. Continue highlighting docuplanes, or click to end the highlight session.
