Existing docuplanes can be modified in the same way as they were created. You cannot change the docuplane type (front, general, section, and so on), but you can change the docuplane direction, position and other properties.
To modify a docuplane,
1. Click 3D Documentation and then, in the Setup group, click Modify DP. The Modify Docuplane dialog box opens with the active docuplane automatically selected, and its parameters shown in the dialog box.
2. If necessary, click Docuplane and specify a different docuplane to modify. Either click the docuplane in the viewport or select it from the browser.
3. Change the Docuplane directions, Docuplane Position or other Properties. See
Create a docuplane for descriptions of these options.
4. Click to complete the operation.
To rename docuplanes and docuplane sets,
The easiest way to rename an existing docuplane or docuplane set is in the browser. Simply click its name twice, slowly, in the browser and enter a new name in the yellow edit field.
To extend a section line,
1. Click 3D Documentation and then, in the Setup group, click Extend Sec Line.
2. Click on one of the ends of the section line you wish to extend or shrink.
