Modifying an assembly structure
You can modify your assembly structure by rearranging parts and assemblies so they belong to different assemblies.
The easiest way to do this is to drag a part onto a different assembly in the Structure Browser.
Of course, you can add new parts and assemblies to your structure by creating them, and you can completely delete a part or assembly from your assembly structure by using the Delete 3D function.

You will not be able to reload an assembly file into Creo Elements/Direct Modeling if one of its constituent part files has been deleted.
