Specify an axis of rotation
Many operations, like Pull Angular use an axis of rotation. To help you specify an axis, Creo Elements/Direct Modeling displays the Axis 3D menu. Here is a quick reminder of its options:
X, Y, Z, -X, -Y, -Z - The global axes.
Ref WP - The reference workplane.
U, V, W, -U, -V, -W - The local axes of the reference workplane.
Horizontal, -Horizontal - Horizontal to the reference workplane.
Vertical, -Vertical - Vertical to the reference workplane.
Face Normal, -Face Normal The normal of a face (positive or negative).
Two Points - Any line or edge defined by two points.
Edge Tangent (Accept, Reverse) - Any edge tangent. You then have the choice to accept or reverse the suggested direction.
Surface Axis (Accept, Reverse) - Any axis of a cylindrical, conical, or toroidal surface. You then have the choice to accept or reverse the suggested direction.
