Example: Pulling several parts simultaneously (remove material)
In this example you will pull several profiles (remove material) 15 mm into the workplane. Parts 1, 2, and 3 will be pulled (remove material) simultaneously. Shown below are the workplane, profiles, and the resulting parts.
After creating the workplane and profile:
1. Click Modeling and then, in the Model group, click the arrow next to Pull.
2. Click Pull Linear. The Pull dialog box opens.
3. If necessary, specify the workplane containing the profile:
a. Click Workplane.
b. Click the border of workplane w2. Creo Elements/Direct Modeling displays the name of the workplane in the Workplane field.
4. Specify the parts to machine:
a. Click Parts.
b. Click Select in the main toolbar or press F2. The Select dialog box opens.
c. Click Start (in List).
d. Click parts 1, 2, and 3 in the viewport.
e. To complete the list of parts, click End (in List). Creo Elements/Direct Modeling highlights the parts in the graphics area.

The option in the Operation box is automatically set to Remove Material.
5. In the Type box, select Distance and enter 15 in the Distance box. Make sure that the arrow showing the direction of the pull operation points in the correct direction.
6. Choose whether to keep the workplane and profile on completion of the milling operation.
7. To pull the part, click . Creo Elements/Direct Modeling pulls (remove material) the parts as defined.
