Conditions and controls on transferring 3D documentation
Note the following limitations and restrictions when transferring annotations from Creo Elements/Direct Modeling to Creo Elements/Direct Annotation:
Labels created with the old Labeling command in Creo Elements/Direct Modeling and in the Dynamic Relations module cannot be transferred to Creo Elements/Direct Annotation.
Views must be updated at least once (to display the actual view geometry) before labels can be transferred.
Dimensions attached to any elements other than faces, edges, and vertices (for example, workplanes) cannot be transferred.
Dimensions with zero value cannot be transferred, unless they are the zero dimensions of baseline or coordinate dimensions.
A 3D dimension can only be transferred to a view if the view direction is normal to the measure direction of the 3D dimension.
A transferred symbol can have only one reference line. An existing reference line, however, can be deleted and a new one created. Note that the transferred attributes are not preserved in new reference lines.
