Views overview
A view is the fundamental entity showing a 3D model laid out in 2D. Views display the model as seen from a defined direction in space. There can be any number of views of a given part or assembly.
When you first create a new drawing, you can add standard (orthogonal, isometric, and general) views to the first sheet in the same step. Now you can update these views and add further standard and detail, section, and flat views.
Existing views can be moved, deleted, and modified in a number of ways.
You can transfer Creo Elements/Direct Modeling annotations (such as 3D Annotations and 3D Notes) to Creo Elements/Direct Annotation views using the Transfer 3D Doc menu. You can also create views based on configurations created in Creo Elements/Direct Modeling.
