Automatic hatch hole insertion
Creo Elements/Direct Annotation automatically draws hatching when you create a section view. Also, Creo Elements/Direct Annotation automatically inserts a hole in hatching for text placed on the hatching if the owner of the new text is the section view.
*
No hatch holes are created when the text owner is a sheet, a frame, or a sketch. Also, hatch holes are only inserted in automatic hatching, not in manually created hatching.
The figure shows text in a hatch hole.
If you change the attributes (for example, the size or angle) of text contained in a hatch hole, Creo Elements/Direct Annotation adapts the hole accordingly. The hatch hole is also retained after modifying the hatching (for example, changing the hatch distance or pattern).
