Move symbols
You can move existing symbols within their given domains. For example, a symbol owned by one view cannot be attached to another view.
To move a symbol,
Click a handle on the symbol and drag it to a new position.
If you are accustomed to our earlier versions, you can still use the original menu:
1. Click Annotation and then, in the Annotate group, click the arrow next to Mod Position.
2. Click Move Symbol. The Modify Symbol Position dialog box opens.
3. Click a symbol to be moved, define a selection box, or use the Select tool.
4. Click Copy on if you want to keep a copy of the symbol in its original position.
Enter a number for Repeat if you wish to make multiple copies.
5. Click the end point of the move (or enter coordinates in the user input line).
A box representing the symbol is attached to the cursor until you specify the destination point.
6. Continue specifying symbols to move, or click to complete the operation.
After completing a move (with Copy switched off), you can click Back to undo the move and return the symbol to its original position.
