Create drawings from models (Creo Elements/Direct Annotation) > Modify drawings > Add and modify sketches > Load a sketch

Load a sketch
You can load a previously saved sketch into the current drawing by selecting it from the Template Browser.
To load a sketch,
1. Double-click a sketch in the Template Browser. The Sketch dialog box appears.
2. If needed, specify the Owner of the sketch.
3. Click Adjust to select an adjust point on the sketch.
4. Position the sketch in the viewport.
5. Continue to position sketches or click to complete the operation.
A sketch can also be any valid MI file created in Creo Elements/Direct Annotation or Creo Elements/Direct Drafting, and it is possible to load DXF and IGES files as sketches as well. To do this, the DXF and IGES environment variables must be set correctly; see Save or export files files.
