Label/text style settings
Label Style and Text Style references appear frequently in the default settings and share the same attributes. Double-click the label or text value to display the style reference window. For example, click File > Settings > Dimension > Dim Text Settings. Double-click Text Style (under Main Value). The Text Style of Annotation/Dimension/Text/Main Value table opens. Here you can choose a style or create a new one, setting such values as:
Style — Name of style
SizeCreo Elements/Direct Annotation has a default size of 3.5 mm or equivalent (that is, depending on the Units condition).
Color — Select from the drop-down list.
Frame
You can set a balloon, box, or flag frame to be drawn around new text. Creo Elements/Direct Annotation's default is to draw no frame.
The color of a frame is the same as the color of the text it surrounds.
The figure shows text within a balloon frame.
A balloon around a single character becomes a circle.
The figure below shows text within a box frame.
The figure shows text within a flag frame.

This will only affect text fonts that can be filled, such as " hp_block_c ". The Creo Elements/Direct Annotation default is not to fill text characters.
The figure shows an example (unfilled and filled).

Creo Elements/Direct Annotation has a default width-to-height ratio of 1. (The text height is determined by the size setting.)
The figure shows text with a ratio of 1 and a ratio of 2.

The figure shows the text angle.
Adjust
You can adjust the origin of new text used when locating it on the sheet. This is useful for aligning text in tables. The Creo Elements/Direct Annotation default position is the lower left corner.
The text origin is a vertex point, and can be seen by turning Vertices on in the Show menu (Sh).
The figure shows the possible cursor positions in a text box. This is similar to the Adjust graphic that appears when you click Adjust in the menu.
Linespace
Creo Elements/Direct Annotation has a default of 2.2 mm. The distance between lines of text in a block is determined as follows:
Actual line spacing = Line Spacing x Text Size
