Settings values determination
The value of a setting depends on the current style, and existing customized user, site, corp (corporate), and system files. Creo Elements/Direct Annotation determines the value as follows:
1. Creo Elements/Direct Annotation first looks for a user value for the setting. User values always have first priority.
2. Creo Elements/Direct Annotation then inquires up the settings hierarchy looking for an active style: If it finds a style with a value set at the user, site, corp, or system level (in that order), Creo Elements/Direct Annotation uses that value.
3. If no style value has been set, Creo Elements/Direct Annotation checks for default values at first the site, then the corp level.
4. Finally, if Creo Elements/Direct Annotation has not found a value for the setting, it takes the system default setting.
