Start Creo Elements/Direct Annotation
After you start Creo Elements/Direct Annotation, you can switch between Creo Elements/Direct Annotation,Creo Elements/Direct Modeling, and other applications.
To open Creo Elements/Direct Annotation application,
1. Click File > Modules. The Modules dialog box opens.
2. Click Applications.
3. Click Annotation in the Included section.
The Creo Elements/Direct Annotation tab opens on the ribbon. The Annotation commands replace Modeling commands on some tabs, but most of the Creo Elements/Direct Modeling window remains unchanged.
To switch to a different module: Click Applications and then, in the Base group, select a different application from the Free or Licensed group. The ribbon of the chosen application replaces your current ribbon. To re-open Creo Elements/Direct Annotation, click Annotations and then, in the Free group, click Annotation.
To exit Creo Elements/Direct Annotation and Creo Elements/Direct Modeling completely: Click File > Exit.
To exit Creo Elements/Direct Annotation,
1. Click File > Modules. The Modules dialog box opens.
2. Click Applications.
3. Clear the Annotation check box in the Free section.
