Finding a point's coordinates
You can determine the precise location of any point in the viewport with the Measure tool.
To determine the coordinates of any point in the viewport,
1. Click Annotation, Geometry, or Insert and then, in the Utilities group, click the arrow next to .
2. Click Point. The Measure dialog box opens with Point Output X and Y boxes.
3. Click a point in the viewport.
The coordinates of the point are given in the Point Output box, next to the X: and Y: coordinate boxes.
4. Continue clicking points to determine their coordinates, or click (Apply) or Cancel to complete the command.
You can click (Apply) to use the output from Measure as input for an interrupted operation.
