Delete elements
Use Delete to delete manually added elements.

Because calculated geometry derives from 3D models, it can never be deleted. If you want to remove calculated geometry, use Hide.
To delete elements,
1. Click Geometry and then, in the Clipboard group, click Delete

Alternatively, you can click Annotation, Geometry, or Insert tab and then, in the Utilities group, click (Delete).
2. Select the elements to delete:
Select by box in the viewport, or
Use the Select tool. To select hidden lines or tangent edges, use Hidd Supp or Tangent in the Select dialog box.
3. Click to complete the operation.
To undo a deletion, use Undo / Redo.

Alternatively, select the elements and press Delete to delete all the selected elements. Views, sketches, OLE objects, and pictures cannot be deleted by preselection. If the preselection focus includes views, sketches, OLE objects, or pictures, along with the 2D elements, none of the preselected elements are deleted.
