Rename frames
You can change the name of an existing frame. Frame names are seen in the Drawing Browser.
To rename a frame,
1. Click
Annotation and then, in the
Setup group, click the arrow next to
Properties.
2. Click
Sheet.
| Alternatively, select the frame in the Drawing Browser, right-click, and select Frame Properties from the context menu. |
The Sheet Properties dialog box opens.
3. Under Frame, in the Name box, type the new name for the frame.
4. If necessary, specify a different sheet:
◦ In the Sheet box, select the sheet, or
◦ Select the sheet from the Drawing Browser, right-click, and select Apply Selection from the context menu.
5. Click Close to complete the operation.
| To avoid compatibility problems, you should not use the dot character "." as part of your new frame name! |
