Change geometry attributes
You can change the appearance of existing geometry. The modification commands can also act upon the geometry of views. Any changes made to view geometry are retained after a future update.
To change the attributes of existing geometry,
1. Click Geometry and then, in the Draw group, click Properties.
2. Select the geometry element to modify, define a selection box, or use the Select tool. The Geometry Properties dialog box opens.
3. Change one or more of the settings:
Under Appear tab:
Specify a new color by clicking Color and selecting from the Color Selector dialog box.
Select a new line type from the Line Type cascade list.
Under Thickness tab:
Enter a new pen size in the Pen Size box.
Enter a new line size in the Line Size box.
4. Creo Elements/Direct Annotation redraws the specified geometry with the new settings.
You also have two options to specify predefined settings:
Grab
You can grab the settings of existing geometry for use as the selections in the Geometry Properties dialog box. Click Grab and then specify the geometry whose settings you want to apply. The boxes in the dialog box are updated to show the selected geometry's settings.
Default
The default settings for standard or construction geometry (as specified in the Geometry section of Default Settings table: Click File > Settings > Geometry) can also be applied when modifying geometry. Click Construction Line Style to adopt the construction geometry settings or Standard Line Style to adopt the standard geometry settings in the Geometry Properties dialog box.
5. Click Close to close the Geometry Properties dialog box.
