Create drawings from models (Creo Elements/Direct Annotation) > Modify drawings > Modify drawings > Delete a drawing and associated 3D data

Delete a drawing and associated 3D data
As well as deleting a drawing in Creo Elements/Direct Annotation you can also delete all 3D data in Creo Elements/Direct Modeling associated to the drawing. Information about view sets and views is retained by the model, even if the drawing where they were created is not loaded or has been destroyed. You can see this information in the Structure Browser.
The Reset command removes all 3D data associated with the current drawing. It also removes empty view sets (those not owning any views) that were defined in a different drawing but owned by a loaded Creo Elements/Direct Modeling part. However, view information associated with other drawings is not affected.
You are asked to confirm the deletion of the drawing and 3D data: Save both the drawing and the model before resetting them.
To delete a drawing and associated 3D data,
1. Click Annotation and then, in the Setup group, click More.
2. Click Reset in the Drawing section.
3. Click Continue in the warning box.
Creo Elements/Direct Annotation deletes the drawing, and reverts to its state at start-up. The associated 3D data is removed from the model in Creo Elements/Direct Modeling. Now you can create a new drawing or load one from disk.
