You can change the default line styles and offsets of the auxiliary geometry that you add to a drawing.
To change auxiliary line settings,
1. Click File > Settings > Auxiliary Geometry. The Default Settings table opens with Auxiliary Geometry settings.
2. In the Value column, double-click the setting or
Line style settings you wish to change.
You can set the following offset values or style references:
• Center Line Style
• Center Line Absolute Offset
• Center Line Relative Offset
• Symmetry Line Style
• Symmetry Line Absolute Offset

Unlike the other attributes, which have the same meaning for both center lines and symmetry lines, the offsets used to determine the lengths of lines differ:
• The center line offset
The offset value determines the lengths of the center lines relative to the circular element in which they are drawn. The relative offset affects the center lines proportionally, the absolute offset by a set amount. The offset is calculated as follows:
Actual offset = (Radius x Relative Offset) + Absolute Offset
If the actual offset is a negative number, Creo Elements/Direct Annotation draws the center lines inside the circular element.
• The symmetry line offset
The offset determines the length of the symmetry line relative to its defining lines. The offset value you enter is added to both ends of the symmetry lines. (The offset has no effect when drawing symmetrically associated elements other than lines.)
