Clash Analysis
Two processes ensure that the Clash Analysis is kept up-to-date in Creo Elements/Direct Manager Server if the model data changes.
1. Clash Processor
This process regularly checks whether any model data that affects the analysis has been modified. If a modification is detected, the corresponding analysis object(s) are marked as out-of-date.
2. Job Schedule Processor
This process monitors the job schedule list and triggers a recalculation if needed. In general, it triggers a recalculation if:
◦ The clash analysis is out-of-date.
◦ A scheduled job is due. Creo Elements/Direct Manager Server only recalculates the Clash Analysis at the interval specified when you set up the task. This avoids unnecessary calculations on frequently modified assemblies.
These processes are configured by settings in:
<Manager Server Installation Directory>\ServiceControllerConfig.xml
You may customize the settings by creating a CustomServiceControllerConfig.xml file and adding your process settings.
