Database Schema
The following diagram shows the attributes for standard model and library classes, their position in the unique ID string, and the Creo Elements/Direct Modeling source information to determine the attribute’s value. The symbolic version attribute is only used for multi-version load for both, models and library parts.
*
The only difference between the schemas of the MODEL_3D and the CORP_LIBRARY_3D classes is the first attribute in the unique ID string (NAME versus MODEL_ID_NAME). The class LIBRARY_3D is different in several respects to maintain compatibility with older implementations (Legacy Library Concept).
For new deployments of Creo Elements/Direct Model Manager you can update the standard LIBRARY_3D schema to distinguish between a NAME and MODEL_ID_NAME attribute, similar to the CORP_LIBRARY_3D class (New Library Concept).
