Start, Stop, or Restart the Java Services
Creo Elements/Direct Manager Server has various Java Services. These Java Services can be individually started, stopped, or restarted.
To start, stop, or restart a Java Service,
1. Click Start > All Programs > PTC > Creo Elements Direct Manager Server 20.6 > Manager Server 20.6 Java Services Manager.

You must right-click the Manager Server 20.6 Java Services Manager option and then, in the shortcut menu, click Run as administrator.
2. The Creo Elements/Direct Model Manager – Java Services Manager dialog box opens. The Creo Elements/Direct Model Manager Java Services, their status, and process ids are listed in this dialog box.

3. Select the Java Service and click Start, Stop, or Restart. You may either select Local System Account to use the SYSTEM account information or select Domain Account to use a domain account.

If you select Domain Account, you must type the user name in the format Domain\Username and the password in the Domain Account and the Domain Password boxes, respectively.
4. Click Save to save the user name and password information for the selected Java Service. The user name and password is used for the individual Java Service during the Start and Restart operation. The password is stored in an encrypted format.
5. To refresh the status of the Java Services in the Creo Elements/Direct Model Manager – Java Services Manager dialog box, you can click either Refresh or Auto Refresh. The Auto Refresh command automatically refreshes the Java Services status periodically.
6. Click Exit to close the Creo Elements/Direct Model Manager – Java Services Manager dialog box.
