Working with roles and permissions
Permissions in Creo Elements/Direct Manager Server are controlled by roles, and roles are only assigned to projects. Roles for each project are unique; a user with a certain role in one project does not necessarily have the same role in another project.
The highest level role is set in Creo Elements/Direct Manager Server through the Creo Elements/Direct Manager Server Client. Users assigned to the Project Manager group can create new projects within Creo Elements/Direct Model Manager. Once a project is created, these users can assign the project manager role to other users. Users with the project manager role can set the roles on the project where they are assigned. The roles within Creo Elements/Direct Model Manager are:
